The CEO of AMC, Adam Aron, has confirmed on Twitter that the movie theater chain will begin accepting payments in Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash. The movie chain already accepts Bitcoin.
The CEO first confirmed the plan of the company to add support for Bitcoin during an earnings call that took place in the first weeks of August.
He also added that AMC took into consideration several other blockchain-relation options, so the adding of altcoin payment options seems to be the most logical next step.
The shares of AMC closed yesterday at $46,84, which means that the stock is up 2,131% year-to-date.
