As a result of the problems Binance is currently facing in the UK, the company has decided to suspend withdrawals of GBP and EUR.
This happened only several days after Clear Junction, one of the most important European partners of Binance, declared that it would stop fiat payments to Binance.
The exchange declared: “Please note that GBP Bank Withdrawals (via Faster Payments) have been temporarily suspended [….] we are working to resume this service as soon as we can.”
Furthermore, banks such as Santander and Barclays have also decided to forbid people from making deposits to Binance, due to the FCA consumer warnings issued in June.
