According to data from The Block Research, the monthly adjusted on-chain volume for Bitcoin reached a record high in March 2021.
The adjusted on-chain volume for March was $366.27 billion, which represents an increase of 14.7% from the previous ATH of $319.3 billion that was recorded in February 2021. This means that we’ve witnessed three consecutive months in which adjusted on-chain volume for BTC has reached a record high.
Quite so, the data from The Block shows that the month of March was a busy one.
During the same month, BTC miners brought in over $1.5 billion in revenue, which was triggered by BTC reaching record-high prices across the world’s global exchange ecosystem.
Furthermore, trading volumes for Bitcoin futures and options also reached a new all-time high during the month of March.
