Blockchain.com Introduced Username-Based Crypto Transactions

It is now confirmed that Blockchain.com is working with Unstoppable Domains in order to simplify the procedure of sending crypto funds.

Unstoppable Domains confirmed yesterday that it had integrated native support for Blockchain.com, thus allowing the 32 million verified users of the latter to send funds using a username and not a full-length crypto wallet address.

This is meant to remove the risk of human error that is possible when sending funds and make the transactions between Blockchain.com users over 50 wallets and exchanges supported by Unstoppable Domains much simpler.

This will allow you to send crypto such as Bitcoin or Ether using a readable recipient’s domain and not a 25-to-42 digit alphanumeric wallet address so you’ll have the needed protection against miscopies and avoid typos.

“With our integration with Blockchain.com, an ‘invalid address’ message will pop up if the address is not linked to a wallet,” declared the founder and CEO of Unstoppable Domains, Matthew Gould.

An exact character length for a domain wallet address hasn’t been picked, so Gould declared: “We only recommend you pick a domain that’s easy to read and remember. It could be your first and last name, your nickname, the name of your business.”
