A long-awaited crypto tipping feature may come to Twitter as it seems that the social media platform is working on creating the needed functionalities for that.
Mobile app developer Alessandro Paluzzi tweeted that both Bitcoin and Ethereum addresses were discovered as possible options under the settings toolbar on Twitter’s mobile app.
#Twitter is working to allow you to add your #Bitcoin and #Ethereum address to your profile to receive tips via the Tip Jar feature đź‘€

Paluzzi commented that Twitter is “working to allow you to add your #Bitcoin and #Ethereum address” to a user’s profile. This seems to be in line with the Tip Jar feature that was added in May.
While the crypto tipping feature will use the Lighting Network payment platform Strike, Paluzzi believes that “it is not necessary to link a Strike account” in order to utilize or add a crypto address to the profile of a user.
