The Italian luxury fashion house has confirmed that it will launch an NFT collection, named “DGGenesi,” which will be the first Alta Moda NFT in the world.
This will represent the first NFT product of the company.
The announcement came via a tweet that reads: “Dolce & Gabbana proudly reveals DGGenesi. The first-ever Alta Moda NFT exclusive collection in partnership with luxury marketplace unxd.com. The marketplace unxd.com explains how D&G NFT bidders can ‘reserve a spot in line’.”
Vogue confirmed that the collection would make its debut at the Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioielleria shows in Italy which will take place on August 28th and 30th.
Previously, Gucci had also created an NFT, “Gucci Aria,” which was sold during an auction at Christie’s for $25K.
