For the First Japan Tour in 27 Years, PSG Sells $220,000 NFT Tickets

For its friendly matches this month with local clubs in Japan, Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (PSG), the winning soccer team of the French Ligue 1, is selling NFT tickets costing 30 million yen (about US$218,817) each.

The team’s official tour website is still selling three premium NFT tickets for each of the three games until Wednesday.

The VIP party and lounge at the stadium, where purchasers can have their picture taken with PSG players, are both accessible with the NFT ticket.

PSG is also releasing NFTs to mark the team’s first trip to Japan since 1995 in a variety of collectible formats, including player video messages and important images from the trip.

The first football game played by the team in Japan will take place on July 20 against Kawasaki Frontale in the J1 League.

Neymar Junior, Kylian Mbappé, and Lionel Messi, the team’s premier football players, will travel to Japan.
