Google Finance users now have the possibility to check the top cryptocurrency prices with the help of a dedicated ‘crypto’ tab that has just been added. Google Finance has updated its finance.google.com domain with a “Crypto” section that provides information regarding Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash prices.
As you can see, the “Crypto” tab appears alongside conventional currency and stock markets. The addition makes it easy for Google Finance users to stay informed of the latest pricing of the featured cryptocurrencies.
Google’s update is in line with the wider acceptance of cryptocurrencies, given the growing interest in crypto and the increasing number of corporations and institutions that have invested in crypto.
Mastercard and Tesla are just two of the major firms that have embraced a pro-crypto attitude, and since there are signs that more and more institutions and companies will direct their attention toward this space, calls for clearer regulation and guidelines on cryptocurrencies are also growing.
All the investments and attention that the crypto has benefitted from lately has led to a crypto market cap that broke $1 trillion in January, reaching $1.7 trillion in February. Considering the current values, the crypto class is now worth over $1.4 trillion.
