The Block Research collected data and discovered that during July, Bitcoin miners have registered revenue of more than $970 million.
According to The Block’s Data Dashboard, the monthly total was $971.83 million. This sum also includes transaction fees which totalled $27.59 million.
Subsidy earnings represented the majority of the monthly revenue as each new Bitcoin block produced 6.25 BTC. Miners are allowed to register a profit in the case where the cost of running a Bitcoin mining operation is lower than the subsidies plus transactions fees they earn.
The month of July saw an increase over the month of June, which registered a profit of $839.09 million. Nonetheless, both figures are far from the ATH of $1.75 billion registered in March.
