Larva Labs has signed an Intellectual Property deal with United Talent Agency, an agency based in Hollywood. Larva Labs is known for being the creators of CryptoPunks, Meebits, and Autoglyphs.
UTA will start representing Larva Labs and its creations for intellectual property (IP) deals regarding movies, TV, video games, licensing, and publishing. Created in 2017, the CryptoPunks project of Larva Labs is one of the most popular NFT projects on the Ethereum blockchain.
Lesley Silverman, Head of Digital Assets at UTA, declared:
Larva Labs has also gone to create computer-generated images now presented as NFTs in the form of Meebits NFTs; they were released earlier this year, in May 2021.
CryptoPunks enjoyed a lot of popularity in 2021 as a result of a growing interest in NFTs – more than $2.5 billion in sales were recorded during the first half of 2021.
