Christmas came early this year as Mariah Carey not only encouraged her fans to invest in crypto, but she is also offering $20 in free Bitcoin via crypto exchange Gemini.
The five-time Grammy Awards winner started the collaboration with Gemini and is offering free BTC to everybody who wants to begin to invest by using the crypto exchange.
The announcement was made by herself on Twitter, where she has 21.6 million followers. She later offered more information on her Instagram page where she is followed by 10.2 million people.
The plan of the Queen of Christmas is “to support Black Girls Code.”
Everybody who signs up for a trading account at Gemini by using her referral code will receive $20 in free BTC on their first investment. The offer is available only for new users who are also verified.
Carey explained that those who sign up aren’t required to acquire a whole Bitcoin to be able to invest mentioning that one can invest as little as $5 for starters. She also urged her fans to learn about crypto using sources like Gemini and Cryptopedia.
