Marijuana Available in the Metaverse

Marijuana is entering the metaverse thanks to a company known as Higher Life which says it is the first cannabis brand to make its debut in the metaverse.

Higher Life CBD Dispensary is the shopfront for buying luxury cannabis products from Saucey Farms & Extracts. The shop is located on 3 Dendrite Street, close to Igloo 3 in Crpytovoxels.

Alex Todd, a celebrity jeweler turned cannabis entrepreneur, and Jim Jones, a Harlem rapper, are the founders of Saucey Farms. Their products are known for being “organically-grown, slow-cured and premium-grade.”

The Higher Life CBD Dispensary was launched in December 2021 into the metaverse by Brandon Howard:

“This marked the company’s historic debut as the first metaverse dispensary in the world. Higher Life is rooted in the vitality the plant offers to consumers. We continue to innovate to find new ways to extend its remarkable health benefits to all.”

In the beginning, the metaverse shop only offered basic cannabis products but now it has expanded (in the states where it is not illegal) to flower strains, kiefed pre-rolls, and all-natural cannabis oil cartridges.

Alex Todd declared: “It is exciting being at the forefront of cannabis and technology innovation with our product. It is one of many firsts in the metaverse space. We’re honored to lead the creation of new ways folks can access and experience cannabis.”

Meanwhile, Brandon Howard stated: “We couldn’t think of a better partner to expand our metaverse footprint with. I’m thrilled to have Saucey as the exclusive partner in launching Phase Two with us. We’re both excited to continue pushing the boundaries of cannabis e-commerce.”

Cannabis NFTs are planned for later this year.
