McDonald’s China has released a collection of 188 NFTs in order to celebrate its entering the Chinese market 31 years ago. The collection is known as “Big Mag Rubik’s Cube.” Both employees and consumers can get their hands on it as part of a giveaway.
The NFTs are designed based on a 3D structure of the new office headquarters of McDonald’s China’s which was officially inaugurated the same day the NFTs were premiered.
The NFTs were built on the Confluux public blockchain in collaboration with Cocafe in order to make sure that “each work is unique, indivisible and can not be tampered with.”
This decision by McDonald’s China seems to go against the current anti-crypto stance of the government although no other information is available.
