Michael Saylor is adamant about promoting Bitcoin. One of the most well-known Bitcoin maximalists continues to be the 57-year-old co-founder of the business analytics company MicroStrategy. Saylor recently suggested to billionaire Elon Musk to buy more Bitcoin after the latter [jokingly] suggested buying a football team.
Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of electric vehicles, made the comment that he would buy Manchester United, an English football team, on Twitter. He added, “I’m also buying Manchester United ur welcome.” Numerous fans and the media were interested in the tweet. This is partly because club supporters are dissatisfied with the decisions made by the current owners.
Musk responded that it was a joke and that he had no plans to own a sports team when questioned whether he was serious. However, he claimed that if he were to buy a soccer team, it would be Manchester United. This hasn’t stopped individuals from responding to the comment, with Michael Saylor among them who told Musk: “We would prefer that you buy some more Bitcoin.”
