A non-profit organization that supports the development and growth of the Stellar Network, Stellar Development Foundation, is allegedly interested in buying MoneyGram International.
It seems Stellar is working on this potential purchase in collaboration with Advent International, a private equity company that is specialized in international buyouts.
No decision was made as of now, but both Stellar and Advent have the option of deciding not to go on with the deal.
Stellar was founded by Jed McCaleb, the same person who founded Ripple.
