On Sunday, SHIB Jumped 30% While Dogecoin Also Advanced

The top “meme coins” didn’t take the weekend off, as SHIB and DOGE both had significant price increases on Sunday.

According to CoinMarketCap, Shiba Inu increased by more over 30% at lunchtime, going from $0.00001516 in the morning to as high as $0.00001774. $3.41 billion worth of trading was done over the past 24 hours. SHIB is now worth $0.00001671.

SHIB rose dramatically from $0.000007911 to $0.00008 in October 2021, reaching its all-time peak in less than a month.

According to CoinMarketCap, Dogecoin increased from $0.0771 to $0.0838 over roughly the same time period, or by almost 8%.

Early in June was the last time DOGE traded above $0.08. Although it was selling at $0.18 at the beginning of the year and as high as $0.34 exactly one year ago today, the coin’s supporters are keen to see it reach $0.10.

In recent months, the two coins have competed for the top market cap, which is currently hovering around $10 billion.
