PayPal is working on recruiting people for a number of crypto-related positions for its Ireland offices thus indicating the plans of the company to embrace the ever-growing digital asset market.
The company is searching for people to work in compliance, anti-money laundering, and business development for its offices in Dublin and Dundalk.
PayPal released its crypto and blockchain business unit this year in order to help it make its transition into crypto. The process began in October of the previous year when users in the US were allowed to purchase several cryptos, like Bitcoin, Ether, and Litecoin.
The plan further continued this year, in early spring, when US customers received the possibility of paying for goods and services using digital asset holdings.
In April, the CEO of PayPal, Dan Schulman, revealed that the crypto business side of the company surpassed any expectations during the first six months of the operation.
