Polygon’s New Gaming Studio Is Now Officially Released With Cricket NFT Platform

NFTs have popped up in every important sport, from soccer to basketball, so it was only a matter of time until one of the most popular sports in Asia would join in: cricket.

An officially licensed cricket NFT platform, Rario, will let fans collect and trade important moments from cricket history. The platform is to be integrated with Polygon.

This represents the first project launched with support from Polygon Studios, which is the new NFT and gaming hub of Polygon.

The platform is already collaborating with several cricket leagues, such as the Lanka Premier League and the Caribbean Premier League, plus cricket stars such as South African cricketer Faf Du Plesis and Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan. Basically, you can see Rario being for cricket what Sorare represents for international football.

Sandeep Nailwal, the co-founder of Polygon, declared:

“We believe Rario is laying down the foundations for making digital collectibles the most prized asset for sports fans in India and across the world. Polygon Studios is thrilled to be on this pioneering journey with the Rario team.”
