Rothschild Investment Corporation has revealed that it has recently acquired 265,302 shares of the Grayscale Ethereum Trust, which represents the first investment in the vehicle.
Furthermore, the institutional investment manager has also increased its position in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust by close to 8,000 shares, going from 30,454 shares to 38,346 shares.
The manager has recently revealed that the shares that are part of the ETH trust have a worth of $4.75 million, while its holdings in the BTC trust have a worth of $1.92 million.
Rothschild is notable for being among the first major institutional asset managers that sought ETH exposure via Grayscale’s trust product.
On Thursday, Ether reached a new ATH of $2,500.
