Dubai music production company 3F Music has acquired a new meme NFT – Side-Eyeing Chloe which was purchased for 25 ETH or $75,315.
The owners of the video sold the viral screengrab, which is a 660×371 image as an NFT, on September 24th. Basically, this means that each pixel is worth 30 cents.
The mother of the child in the meme said:
“The money is awesome but it’s just the fact that we get to do this as a family is so much fun.”
She also said that she plans on hodling the ETH: “In an ever-changing world, it may be worth more next week.”
3F has acquired several meme NFTs, such as the Disaster Girl meme for $390,000, the Overly Attached Girlfriend meme for $411,000, and an NFT of Kevin Roose’s New York Times column for $560,000. Farzin Fardin Fard, the founder of the company, has 393 NFTs in his private collection.
