The Iota Foundation has teamed up with Dell Technologies to launch a data-driven system that will allow for real-time carbon footprint tracking.
The Iota Foundation, a non-profit distributed ledger technology ecosystem provider, is now developing an integrated digital form of measurement that will also act as a verification (MRV) tool in collaboration with Dell Technologies, in response to persistent concerns about the rise in carbon footprints.
ClimateCHECK and BioE will also be joining Iota and Dell Technologies.
Both of these organizations will collaborate to precisely track carbon footprints and to educate organizations and individuals about the many methods for reducing carbon footprints and the severity of the impact of rising carbon footprints.
Both organizations have constructed solutions based on Dell’s in-house Data Confidence Fabric (DCF) and Project Alvarium projects, according to the Dell Technologies solution team.
