Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, has made the list of the 100 most influential people of the year, the famous list created by TIME Magazine every year.
Other big names from the crypto sphere who made the list include Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Elon Musk, the world’s biggest Dogecoin fan. The profile for Buterin was written by Alexis Ohanian, the other co-founder of Ethereum. He talked about the role Buterin had in creating the Ethereum network and building up to a market cap of over $400 billion, and how he encouraged the growth of decentralized apps and NFTs.
“No one person could’ve possibly come up with all of the uses for Ethereum, but it did take one person’s idea to get it started. From there, a new world has opened up, and given rise to new ways of leveraging blockchain technology.”
