You Will Soon Be Able to Pay With Crypto on Google Pay and Samsung Pay

According to crypto payments provider BitPay, the day in which you will be able to pay via Google Pay and Samsung Pay using crypto is coming soon. Several days ago, the company also officially announced Apple Pay support for the BitPay Card, which lets people make payments using BTC or other cryptos on the platform.

In the official Apple Pay support announcement, the company declared that support for Google Pay and Samsung Pay will arrive later this quarter. Once it is released, people can add their BitPay Card to Google or Samsung Pay and make the payments they want using crypto. The service can automatically convert the supported crypto, which includes Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ether, PAX, and several others, into fiat currency.

The service is planned to be available in every place in which you can use a typical Mastercard debit card.

“We have thousands of BitPay Wallet app customers using the BitPay Card who are always looking for new places and ways to spend their crypto. Adding Apple Pay and soon Google and Samsung Pay makes it easy and convenient to use the BitPay Card in more places from day-to-day items to luxury purchases.” – Stephen Pair, CEO of BitPay.

The release date is unknown at the moment, but it is suspected to be in the near future since the service is already available on Apple Pay.
