A famous YouTube artist, who goes by the name Alicia “Ali” Spagnola, commented that she is now “accidentally bitcoin rich” after she received a BTC donation from 2013.
In a video uploaded recently, Spagnola told her 325,000 subs that she is “bitcoin rich” following a BTC donation of $50 in 2013. She received the BTC via her Free Painting project more than half a decade ago after being commissioned to offer an acrylic interpretation of the cryptocurrency.
Alie shared a small fragment from the original email, dated June 25, 2013, in which the requester persuaded her into accepting bitcoin.
After the bull rally for bitcoin that started in December, the BTC that she’d forgotten about is now worth $39,000. As a thank you, she took a trip to visit the donator in Las Vegas and offer them personally a larger version of the portrait she originally created.
