The XRP drama never stops. XRP Researcher claims that the price has the chance of increasing by more than 2000% following the lawsuit with SEC. Famous YouTuber Daniel Keem bought 1 million XRP with $276,600, hoping that the SEC ruling will benefit him.
We all know by now how much the lawsuit between SEC and Ripple Labs has hurt XRP investors. When the lawsuit was made public, around Christmas time, the price for XRP fell to less than half. The price is going up and down ever since, but the negative headlines make many XRP investors worry about the future.
XRP is sitting around the $0,30 mark these days, while other altcoins, like Polkadot and Cardano, have consistently grown. By market cap, Polkadot has already surpassed XRP, while Cardano is really close to doing so, as well. Still, some people believe things will change after the lawsuit with the SEC.
A 2,000% Increase Hope
Despite many people pretty much giving up on XRP, others are doing the exact opposite, as they predict a huge price increase after Ripple finishes with the lawsuit. For example, YouTuber XRP Right Now told his Twitter following that the price would recover, as it happened with altcoins that battled SEC before.
XRP Researcher also made a point out of how well the KIN token recovered following the lawsuit with SEC. KIN was declared a security, meaning it won the case, and its price grew over 2,000%.
If Ripple wins in court, any exchange that decided to suspend the trading of XRP will clearly go back to listing it again. As XRP had a higher reach than KIN, the effects of this could be even bigger and better, the YouTuber rested his case.
Other YouTubers Bet on XRP As Well
This theory seems to ease its way into the mainstream. For example, Daniel Keem, aka Keemstar, a YouTuber with 5,8 million followers and founder of DramaAlert, has also invested in XRP in the likely case that Ripple comes out victorious.
Keem, who considers himself to be a “degenerate gambler,” posted on Twitter that he bought 1 million XRP, which is worth $276.600. Keem believes that XRP will rise to $2 following the end of the lawsuit.
