The Bored Ape Yacht Club is off to a great start in 2022 as it was confirmed that rap superstar Eminem bought BAYC #9055 for 123.45 ETH on Thursday. The news was confirmed by Eminem’s decision to use it as a profile picture on Twitter.
The acquisition shows that the owner of the NFT is Shady_Holdings on the OpenSea platform. The portfolio of this user includes several of Lil Baby Doodles X NFTs, Ditaggdogg#1 which includes a stencil image of the star, Superlative Apes #3880.
Eminem also holds several other NFTs, such as SABC #2615, Shaq Gives Back #4077, and Adult Fantasy Sub-Dude (130/151), aside from many other ERC-721 NFTs.
It seems that Eminem now holds 166 NFTs from as many as 32 collections. Currently, his address holds 1.52 ETH following the purchase of #9055 for 123.45 ETH.
