A personalized health care tech company, Progressive Care, has confirmed that it will begin accepting BTC as a form of payment for fast COVID-19 tests. This will be implemented on all of its PharmcoRX locations.
The CEO of the company, Alan Jay Weisberg, has declared that the option has been made available as a result of the fact that foreign tourists are coming to the country and because the use of cash is declining.
“This is an excellent alternative for post-pandemic tourists coming into our communities from abroad. It also allows those with an alternative view of payment systems to get the testing services they require as we strive to maintain a shield against a fresh resurgence of this terrible virus,” he commented.
Weisberg also added that: “Pharmacol has tested over 10,000 people for COVID-19 to date, generating over one million dollars in testing revenues. We are happy to invite Bitcoin holders to our locations for all of their COVID-19 testing needs.”
PharmcoRX became one of the first pharmacies that accepted crypto payments in 2018.
