The film industry continues to embrace the crypto world as tickets for the Sci-Fi movie “Silhouettes” are released as NFTs on the Liquid Network.
The movie is produced by Matt Hartley and Shiv Rajagopal.
The production focused on astronaut Katherine Barnes who, while making a routine inspection of a space station that orbits planet Earth, is taken by an alien on a tour of the universe, from its early days to far in the future.
Tickets for the film can be bought on its official website which was created in collaboration with game studio Pixelmatic. Pixelmatic is the studio behind the sci-fi MMO game “Infinite Fleet.”
Every ticket will offer its buyer exclusive streaming access, but it is also issued as an NFT that the buyer will own from now. Every NFT represents a single unique ticket number.
The film will be released later this week, on August 13th. Tickets can be bought with Bitcoin, Liquid Bitcoin, and Litecoin.
Director Matt Hartley declared: “This is the next step forward in entertainment distribution. We see this as having the potential of becoming the Netflix of Bitcoin.”
