Crypto has been used in betting and gambling for quite some time to the point where online gaming has become one of the most developed parts of the crypto industry. This means the area is constantly growing and the new partnership between Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Stake.com, Latin America’s crypto-only casino, is proof of that.
The UFC is one of the most important MMA organizations, and its collaboration with Stake.com makes it one of the most important players in the crypto betting sector. Until now, Stake.com was working only with sportsbooks and online casinos, but now it seems that it may try to enter the martial arts sector.
The partnership was announced yesterday. This means Stake will be UFC’s first official betting partner in two major areas: Asia and Latin America. The deal won’t cover Brazil, though, despite the fact that the country is one of the key markets for UFC.
It has been reported that the two companies have started working together only since March 3rd. As a result, users of Stake have received access to unique digital content available from UFC.
The official announcement mentions that UFC will also start offering other perks, such as VIP experiences, social content, and exclusive promotions, but also the pay-per-view option to Stake users only.
The vice president of global partnerships at UFC, Nick Smith, has mentioned that his company is excited to work with Stake and that they plan to offer exclusive social and digital content to fans, alongside a new and highly innovative gaming experience.
As of now, Stake offers support for nine of the most important cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, XRP, TRON, and EOS.
