Coinbase’s professional trading platform confirmed in a blog post yesterday that it had added the native currency of the Polkadot blockchain, DOT. This means that since yesterday, the token has become available to transfer into Coinbase Pro accounts, with trading scheduled to begin tomorrow after 9 a.m. PT.
Generally speaking, the exchange adds cryptos to its retail platform after a couple of weeks of listing them on the professional version. A notable exception from this was Dogecoin. As of now, Coinbase Pro supports 50 cryptos.
Trading pairs that are to be supported include DOT-USD, DOT-BTC, DOT-EUR, DOT-GBP, and DOT-USDT.
DOT enjoyed a price increase of 19% over the previous 24 hours, currently trading at $25.12.
