The largest digital assets exchange in Australia, BTC Markets, has confirmed it will become the sponsor for professional tennis player Ajla Tomljanovic for the Australian Open and Sydney Tennis Classic tournament which will take place this month.
According to the company, it has decided to support Tomljanovic partially as a result of a partnership that “increased investor activity from female investors in the last financial year.” Users of the crypto exchange will be able to win tickets to the two tournaments and even a meet and greet with the player with a nonfungible token serving as proof of attendance.
BTC Markets was founded in 2013 and it has over 325,000 clients in Australia. So far, over $14.3 billion have been traded on the platform.
